* The complete mitochondrial genome of the Acipenser schrenckii (Acipenseridae: Acipenser).
- The Acipenser schrenckii is an ancient freshwater Chondrostei species, which is mainly distributed in Amur River in China and Russian. The complete mitochondrial genome of A. schrenckii was obtained for the first time in this study. The circular genome (16,548 bp in length) consists of 37 typical animal mitochondrial genes (13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes) and 1 control region. Overall base composition of the complete mitochondrial DNA was 30% A, 24% T, 29.4% C and 16.5% G with AT (54%).
